Electricity supply to Expocundinamarca 2017

INDUSTRIAS ECTRICOL S.A.S. participates in the electricity supply of the first tourist, business, gastronomic and cultural fair, Expocundinamarca, which will take place from September 13 to 17 at the Hipódromo de los Andes located to the north of the city of Bogota. Four provisional mobile work units were temporarily installed in order to supply energy throughout the fair, which house the substation elements such as the oil transformer, metering, protections, connection, oil trap and environmental kit.

The purpose of the energy substation service is to avoid electrical risk since its metal enclosure protects the equipment and the lives of people who may be around it, is easy to move and used outdoors for large projects or activities, as in this case. • Metering and Protection equipment. SKID base in structural beam HEA 100 type.
• A 200 mm high base, with doors on the cable pipelines for easy maintenance and handling.
• Oil trap whose dimensions vary depending on the capacity of the transformer.
• Enclosure structure with side panels.
• Doors that allow natural ventilation.
• Metering, transformation and protection cubicle incorporated.
• A roof that allows water to slide.

• The medium voltage stretch of line is de-energized where it is installed.
• A fuse type isolating system is installed where the provisional site is connected.
• The connection of the provisional unit is made with clamps intended to operate in hot conditions and a stem type connector.
• VLF tests are carried out
• The line is re-energized so that the provisional unit can start working.
